As a business owner, it is important to become engaged in the community where your business is. Lend a helping hand to the American Red Cross and help ensure your employees and your community are safe where they work, play and live.
The Capital Area Chapter has been helping people in Tallahassee since 1917, and now you can too.
Ways to Give Financially
Make a Financial Donation to the Capital Relief Fund
The work of the Capital Area Chapter would not be possible without raising sustainable contributed funding. We are an organization that relies on the contributions of time and money from individuals, companies and foundations to maintain its on-going community preparedness and disaster response services.
Sponsor an Event
The Capital Area Chapter hosts several major events every year such as the Spring Gala in April, and the Hurricane Run in September. Proceeds from the fundraising events support our vital lifesaving programs and services that include health and safety education, youth preparedness, emergency military communication and assistance and disaster relief. Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels. To become a sponsor, contact Debara Jump at the chapter. (850) 878-6080
Match Your Employees' Gifts
Promote and match employee giving to the American Red Cross—Capital Area Chapter. A corporate match is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate corporate citizenship and support an organization that is important to your employees.
Other Ways to Give
Volunteer
Encourage your employees to take an active role in helping our community by volunteering for the Red Cross in areas such as disaster response, community education, and health and safety training.
Train Your Employees
Protect your employees by providing training in First Aid, CPR, AED and Preparedness. Red Cross training ensures that your employees are in safer and healthier environments whether they are at work, home or out in the community. In addition to health and safety training, one-hour disaster education classes are available.
